Deborah Caldwell-Stone is a staunch advocate for the freedom to read in addition to being a lifelong reader and fan of genre fiction. She is a retired attorney who worked with librarians, trustees, and educators for over two decades to defend against book and internet censorship as Director of the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom. She currently serves as a board member for the Freedom to Read Foundation and the Freedom to Learn Advocates.
